Receive assignments.
Paper, mag tape, disks, CD/DVD, and Fax are all accepted.

Enter account data and information as required within 24 hours of receipt.  Acknowledge receipt of accounts within 48 hours.
 
 
Report Delinquent status and amounts to national credit bureaus as required.  Prepare and mail introductory collection letter within 48 hours of receipt.
 
 
Initiate calling within seven days of receipt
  • No Answer - call back within 30 minutes
  • Not in service - call information
  • Busy - try again 3 times, every 20 minutes
  • Disconnected - call information
  • Alternate calling times and days
  • Attempt contact at least every fifteen days
  • Ephasis on "prime time" calling

Send additional letters to the debtor no less frequently than one per month.

 
 
Conduct various nationwide location searches when references and telephone information are unsuccessful.
 
 
Initiate secondary calling:
  • Call all new credit inquiries
  • Call all creditors discovered
  • Call all employers, current and previous
  • Call all references provided or discovered
  • Check DMVs information
  • Check banking relationships

Send "Please Call" letters to debtors when they are not contacted by phone.

 
 
Continue telephone contact and collection efforts until all sources are exhausted or the debtor refuses to cooperate.
 
 
Initiate legal action if all other efforts are unsuccessful and if debtors assets warrant and if client authorizes
 
 
Politely but firmly negotiate repayment terms.
